Our small canopied boat (12 passengers) tour of mangroves on tidal area of the river was a delightful two-hour excursion. Our guide Marco was very knowledgeable of wildlife and steered us very close for good views, especially of the birds. His love of his native country and pride in its environmental protections and accomplishments added to the tour. Over the years we have done other boat tours, but this one is clearly the best. It is definitely an excursion you should take!
